Bulldog Readership Rises 30 Per Cent

June turned out to be a banner month for readership on the Bulldogs.

Page views for the sites rose 30.5 per cent last month over May’s figures. Total page views were 80,668 per week. Hits were 170,688.

That readership was boosted by a gaggle of new features from Bulldog Homes to The Best: The Top Stories In The World. In total, 17 new features were added to the Bulldogs throughout June.

Our readers have certainly picked up on those new offerings. To see them, check out the hotkeys below.

The Bulldog is nothing without its readers and they have been generous with their time and input.

Once again, The Bulldog thanks you.

As well, a big thank you to advertisers CUPE 503 and College Councillor Rick Chiarelli for their continued support of this forum on Ottawa debate and democracy.

Freedom of speech is alive and well on the Bulldogs. And if you like what we’re doing, please tell your friends about these publications.

  1. Where would we be without the Bulldog and his master Ken ? Ottawa indeed all of Canada has a need for public forums and input which the Bulldog affords the citizens Thank you and Happy 150 Canada

  2. Ken,
Don’t forget to think about the other “realities” that may have helped increase readership.

There was all the “doing lunches” at the Newport.
There was the intervention of Elvis.
    Schmooze does pay.

When is the Bulldog Golf Tournament?

  3. Here is a good example of one of the new features,
today in the “BEST” there is an article under City Lab titled “The Disappearing Downtown Shelter”.

Rather relevant to the comments that some pols made about Ottawa’s Salvation Army.
