Carleton’s Initiative for Parliamentary and Diplomatic Engagement will be hosting a panel event The U.S. Election: A Wild Ride Ahead for Canada? to discuss what the upcoming U.S. election will mean for Canada in terms of trade, security and the environment.

The event will feature a presentation by Colin Robertson, vice-president of the Canadian Global Affairs Institute, and a panel discussion with three astute observers of Canada-U.S. relations. Panelists include:
Gary Doer, former Canadian ambassador to the United States and former premier of Manitoba,
Gordon Giffin, senior advisor to the Clinton campaign and former U.S. ambassador to Canada,
Ron Kaufman, Republican strategist and former White House political director for former president George H.W. Bush.
