What would be a major holiday without city staff releasing controversial and possibly embarrassing reports in a virtual blizzard of activity on Thursday afternoon.
The public relations point behind this is that while you are perplexed about what to buy Mr. Griswold this Christmas, the city can release reports while you are preoccupied with holiday goings-on.
That’s a very cynical process (it also takes into account that reporters, what few of them that are left, will be wanting to take some time for family and friends at this important time of the year and might blow off this pile of significant information).
Wonder how long it will be before the public (at least the engaged voting public) will get sick of this sleight of hand and vote out the political bosses of those who play this game?
