    The rot runs deep everywhere and all the time. It runs from 25 blue fleecy blankets to government PR designed to promote the ones in power as much as the event or program.

    There’s not much difference between the various means of glomming onto taxpayer’s money. Whether it’s used for self or self promotion – it stinks.

    Call me my driver, I’m too busy to drive. Book me in business class. I’m too important to fly coach.

  2. I’ve always felt that a politician’s expense account should be audited annually by an independent source and any funds not used for the greater good should have to be repaid from the misuser’s pocket, plus a penalty, to the municipal, provincial, or federal budget.
