380.000 People Are Missing

    EajD brought up the other side of the coin the other day.

    Yes – there is a missing piece of the puzzle.

    That missing piece numbers some 380,000; that’s how many eligible voters did not vote in the 2014 Ottawa municipal election.

    The current mayor got 190,000 votes from 252,000 voters. Problem is that there were 632,000 people that were eligible to vote.

    Were 60 per cent of the voters away on a holiday, or perhaps they just didn’t care who won?

    Tapping into the missing 380,000 is where a new candidate can find support. Can a new someone make the non-voter realize that it is time for a change.

    The search is on.
