Now that the cars have been named, how about the main station what do we name it?

My entry for the station name is: on-time and on-budget station.

The names for the cars are here.

Kosmo I’m surprised all the cars aren’t called Jimmy.

Did anyone who reports to work at city hall actually spend any time coming up with names for LRT cars? If we are looking for places to save money, I think we may have a starting point.

    Good point, Ron.

I should have submitted The Bulldog.

    What was I thinking?

Great names, eh? Of the real or fictional characters named: One First Nations person. Five women, three of whom were part of the Famous Five. Thirteen dead white men. Not one black person living or dead. Lots of depersonalized First Nations concepts or symbols.

Exactly what I would have expected.

    Bob:

The only name missing is Vote For Jim Watson 2018.

    Yet another lame publicity stunt.

Oh I’m sorry. He’s already had his campaign for mayor. Wasn’t that Watson 2017 or the other name … what was it? … Oh yes, Ottawa 2017 whose only legacy was some litter to clean up after Lizardpalooza.

Sorry again. There were those legacy projects such as LRT, the Innovation Centre (can’t wait to see what innovations will come from City of Ottawa … The Centre For Closed Governance perhaps?), the Ottawa Art Gallery, Main Street Renewal, the National Arts Centre (ho ho ho … surprise federal government), the Science and Technology Museum (another fantasy as though Watson had anything to do with it), The Bank of Canada Museum (brought to you by the City of Ottawa), and others.

Of course none of these were Ottawa 2017 projects until Watson was criticized for spending millions of other people’s money and having nothing to show for it but a party.

These are legacy projects? Why that’s a crock of that stuff that farmers shovel out of the barn. Pathetic

If you want to see a pack of lies, desperation at not having any 2018 legacy projects and taking credit for projects that had absolutely nothing to do with Ottawa 2017, click here.

    It’s good for a chuckle.

    cheers
