Carleton’s popular annual Biology Butterfly Show will open on Saturday, Oct. 1, 2015 and run until Sunday, Oct. 9, 2016. The exhibit will be open each day between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. (On the weekend, lines close at 3 p.m. due to volume). The show is in the Nesbitt Biology Building on University Drive.
Admission is free, although donations are welcome.
Note: There will be an advance media day on Friday, Sept. 30, 2016 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Some butterflies love to land on colourful clothing, others will climb onto your hand. The nine-day show features 1,300 butterflies that arrive in five separate shipments, representing 41 different species worldwide.
More than 1,000 area students and 10,000 visitors total visited the west side of Carleton’s’ campus for last year’s Butterfly Show.
