  1. First reaction: Be still, my heart.

    Second reaction: How much of that increase will be swallowed up by inflationary cost increases at the various hospitals including the Heart Institute? I’d like to see the net increase, not the gross, and a response from the hospitals saying what that real increase will purchase in the line of improved/increased services. $35M looks like a lot of money until we see how much is needed just to continue existing services.
