A wrongful arrest, broken bones, left naked in a police cell, boot to her face, handcuffed, dragged and stripped.
When in 2008 Roxanne Carr tried to go back into her boyfriend’s home to get her belongings, the police took charge and the above occurred.
She was charged with assaulting and obstructing police and damaging property. The charges were dropped in 2011.
Carr has been awarded $255,000 recently in relation to the treatment by police.
