LeBreton: Something Pathetic This Way Comes

There are a million reasons why the city should not be negotiating this LeBreton deal.

The project needs to go through regular process. It would be hilarious if it were not so sad, that a city that has done such an abysmal job of planning this city is now trying to throw its weight around on LeBreton.

The city can’t negotiate (witness Lansdowne … the waterfall appears to have dried up), throws out good planning, abandons heritage, … it goes on and on.

Having the pathetic negotiator Mayor Jim Watson wanting sole authority is ludicrous to the extreme.

A lot of different scenarios are going on here at LeBreton with the city and none of them are good.

Something bad will come out of this … count on it.

The Senators management should have its right up around its chin. A punch is coming.

  1. I guess that it could appear that his lairdship might have a hidden agenda. There may be a possibility of personality differences too. Hopefully there are no monkey wrenches in his toolbox.

It would be a fine time to be a fly on the wall at city hall and in Mr. Melnyk’s office.

After the puck is dropped, will there be a referee at the negotiations?
