  1. All very nice but why does the mayor even rate a mention. This is a Blais job as transit chair. Once again Jim sticking his nose in for photo-op.

    1. The Mayor gets to put this out because he’s the one who develops the draft budget. All that’s really happening here is he’s getting Blais to tell staff to do the prep work for the Equifare to figure out what the rate will be per ride. Then he throws that in the hopper with the other goodies in the 2018 budget and announces it in the fall.
