Mizrahi Needs ‘Distinctive’ Building

The dispute over what constitutes a “landmark building” is critical to Mizrahi Developments getting a height exemption to 12 storeys from nine from the Ontario Municipal Board for its proposal at 1451-1445 Wellington Street.

A landmark building is one with very distinctive architecture.

The OMB says the present design is not distinctive.

Below is Mizrahi’s design for its project at 133 Hazelton Street in Toronto.
