Thoughts For The Karlsson Family

Erik Karlsson and his wife Melinda have sadly revealed that their deceased son, Axel Michael Karlsson, was stillborn.

The Ottawa Senators captain is one of the people who binds this community together following in the steps of his mentor and friend Daniel Alfredsson so this misfortune has struck deeply in Ottawa and the hockey world beyond. In fact, reporters at a recent Senators game wrote of a noticeable pall over the crowd at the Canadian Tire Centre.

The residents of this city have joined together in sympathy for the young couple during this dark time.

I’m sure I speak for the readers, commenters and commentators of The Bulldog in wishing the young couple better days in the future which will surely come as time passes.
