Where’s Watson’s Campaign?

Very interesting news from the election front.

While Mayor Jim Watson has declared that he will seek re-election, political pulse-takers are saying he is doing nothing to put together a campaign at present.

Nobody is more serious about elections than Watson but fundraising apparently is on hold as well as team-building.

That’s unusual for the mayor. As a rule, he is organizing by now.

Maybe he’s waiting to see who will run against him.

  1. Makes sense Ken. If no one decides to run against him, he can make the claim he didn’t spend large amounts of money on a campaign. That would show his frugality.
