While Watson Campaigns, More People Get Shot


As Mayor Jim Watson announced his new big election supporter Daniel Alfredsson on the weekend, two people were shot on the city’s south end.

If this keeps up, Watson will have to hold one of his emergency press conferences in which he says a lot but accomplishes nothing.

And the shootings will continue.

Then the mayor will hold another emergency press conference in which he says …

Ottawa’s gun problem continues to get bigger because no one at the city seems to know what the solution is.

  1. Six weeks ago gun violence was a hot topic in many Bulldog articles. Then things subsided for a short period although nothing was done. This story illustrates what doing nothing to resolve this particular issue has accomplished. Nothing.
