Why Do We Live Here?

caribbean

The Bulldog’s paws a few days ago pointing out to somewhere in the Caribbean from a ship deck and a lounge chair. Ah, can’t wait for minus 30.

OK, so look.

A bit more than a week ago your agent was on a cruise ship stopping at ports around the western Caribbean. And we spent some time in New Orleans. The temps were high enough that we were seeking shade.

We had fun. The company was good and the living was easy.

Back to Ottawa.

Earlier this week, your agent took an hour to chip his car out of an ice cube.

The temperatures are expected around -30C this week at night. Come on.

Ottawa can be a cruel mistress sometimes.

Why do we live here?

I guess it’s because the hockey is better here than in Montego Bay.

Yeah … that’s it.
