He’s obviously smart but he can’t communicate clearly. He speaks like a central banker, unable to simplify his speech for common understanding. His 2 hour speech about 4 or so months ago is on YouTube. Almost indecipherable but it seems like he was against the 75% Capital Gains tax, I think. Regan was called the great communicator because he was able to speak to the level of his constituents. I don’t think Carney has that gift. It will be interesting
Just a minor correction to the above that it is not 75% capital gains tax: “For individuals, a hike in the inclusion rate from 50% to 66.7% for capital gains above $250,000 each year.”
