Some Vital Questions On Light Rail

Here are a few questions that a couple of councillors who have it together should be asking.

I am thinking Barrhaven West Councillor David Hill and Barrhaven East Councillor Wilson Lo would be good to ask these questions of staff. They don’t seem to be shy:

1. What is the root cause of the Confederation Line derailments?
2. When will the fix of this or these root cause(s) be complete?
3. How many axles have had to be replaced on the vehicles using the Confederation Line?
4. What is the cost of those axles?
5. When will the extension of light rail be completed to Algonquin College?
6. Are there any plans in the near future to begin building extensions to Barrhaven and Kanata given that the province is likely to take over responsibility of the building of the entire line?
