Swimming Comes To Dow’s Lake With New Dock
Dow’s Lake is getting a swimming dock says this release to the media Wednesday afternoon.
Expect lots of dead easy video action on the evening news on Thursday of this dog-and-pony-show media event.

The National Capital Commission (NCC) invites media to the launch of swimming at the Dow’s Lake recreational dock. NCC experts, representatives from the Ottawa Riverkeepers and Professor Frances Pick from the University of Ottawa will be available to answer questions. A splashy photo op with our CEO Tobi Nussbaum and guests will follow the event.

I’ve sailed in this lake. I felt like pressure-washing myself whenever I capsized and got wet. Such dirty water!

I predict a surge with infections for the swimmers, luckily the Civic Hospital is down the road.
Looks like one doesn’t have to register for this “splashy photo op”. How accommodating of Mr. Nussbaum! I’m guessing it will be elbows up as camera persons attempt to get the best picture possible of Mr. Nussbaum busting a bottle of champaign over the dock. Definitely an event that everyone will want to attend. Is the “uniform of the day” Speedos????
