This is a release from the City of Ottawa:

>

The purpose of this email is to advise that O-Train Line 2 service has been adjusted.

This is required to allow Rogers Communications to complete emergency repair work near Walkley Station and is not due to any Line 2 system issue.

Emergency work will start shortly, and it is not expected to be completed in time for the start of service on Monday. Train service must be adjusted to ensure the safety of technicians working near the tracks.

For customers traveling this evening and tomorrow, Monday October 20, this means that:

  • Line 2 service will operate in two loops between Bayview and Mooney’s Bay station and between South Keys and Limebank stations.
  • Line 2 service is suspended between Mooney’s Bay and South Keys stations
  • R2 service will operate between South Keys and Carleton stations.

Customers are being updated through text messages, social media, and alerts on octranspo.com. Further updates will be shared ahead of Line 2 reopening.

Thank you,

Troy Charter
