Overbrook ‘Heartbroken’ Over Shooting

This is a statement from the Overbrook Community Association concerning the shooting on Prince Albert Street on Wednesday:

We are heartbroken.

We know that incidents like this week’s shooting can bring up fear, grief, and a sense of unease, no matter how close or far you are from what happened. This is a painful reminder of the work that remains in our community, in our city, and in our systems of support. We have been in touch with Councillor Rawlson King’s office and they, and other incredible community organizations, are hard at work supporting Overbrook residents.
