Baird Backs Sutcliffe, Condemns Leiper

Former federal Conservative cabinet minister John Baird has written an open letter backing Mayor Mark Sutcliffe’s re-election and scathingly attacks Kitchissippi councillor and mayoral candidate Jeff Leiper in an open letter.

Wonder where former Ontario cabinet minister Lisa MacLeod fits into all of this. Interesting if Baird wrote this letter before MacLeod suggested that she might join the Ottawa mayoral race.
