As U.S. President Trump’s unilaterally-launched trade war continues, Canadians have struck back with counter-tariffs on a valued American item: the little Canadian flag patches Americans put on their luggage while travelling abroad.

    I feel that we should take up a collection and purchase American flag patches for Pierre Poilievre and Danielle Smith. Then we can send them off on an extended tour of Europe and China. On the way back (if they make it!), they can do a country-by-country tour of the Middle East with Netanyahu as their guide.

    Just to make it more meaningful, we should also pay for a tattoo of Russian and American flags with crossed flagpoles on their necks. That way if their backpacks get lost or stolen, they can still proudly display the sentiment. If needed, that could also help identify them should they encounter any type of ‘misfortune’.
