Charges Laid in Orleans Break-Ins
The Ottawa Police Service (OPS) has charged a woman following an investigation into multiple break and enters in the Orleans area.
In late September and October, several residences were targeted. In each case, the suspect reportedly rang the front doorbell multiple times before proceeding to the rear of the home to gain entry.

With support from the East Neighbourhood Response Team and the Ottawa Police Crime Analysis Unit, investigators from the Break and Enter Unit were able to identify, arrest, and charge the suspect this past Friday.
A 24-year-old woman from the Ottawa area has been charged with
- Breaking and entering into a dwelling
- Attempted break and enter
- Wearing a disguise.
The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information regarding these incidents is asked to contact the Ottawa Police Service Break and Enter Unit at 613-236-1222, extension 4533.
