Child Killed In Presland Road Motor Vehicle Mishap

The Ottawa Police Service (OPS) is seeking witnesses to a fatal collision that occurred on Wednesday, October 15th in the 300 block of Presland Road.

At approximately 3:42 p.m., officers responded to a report of a collision involving a commercial vehicle and a child.
Life-saving measures were performed on scene by responding officers, however the child was later pronounced deceased at the hospital.

The investigation is ongoing and our thoughts are with the victim’s family.

Investigators would like to speak with anyone who witnessed the collision or may have dashcam or surveillance footage of this incident but has not yet spoken to police.
