Must be Trump or Harper’s fault… just saying.
Canadians would do well to understand that Canada’s economy sharply follows the USA.
Given that Trump is creating a dumpster fire south of our border, the time is now for Canada to stand alone and chart its own course. This won’t be an overnight success story and will take a bit of time to create and solidify trade relationships abroad.
Now is not the time for ‘the sky is falling’ kind of moment.
Let’s not cut PM Carney off at the knees and let him do his job. We may be pleasantly surprised.
