Homicide Probe Begins In Somerset Death

The Ottawa Police Service (OPS) is investigating the October 15th shooting of a male on Somerset Street West after the victim died in hospital.

Thirty-eight-year-old Nelson Getson succumbed to gunshot injuries on October 24th.

There is no further risk to public safety at this time.

There have been seventeen homicides in the City of Ottawa so far this year.
