This is an issue which is a very emotional one. Especially for women, from what I’m seeing. Watching a woman’s sport takeoff and get taken down by council. Lots of people suggesting the Sens will save them but they can’t gift them the CTC when they need the money from the land sales to fun their new stadium. This is just wishful thinking and a pipe dream.

Ottawa city council is made up of 24 councilors, 10 of whom are female. When all is said and done it be interesting to see how many of the 10 will vote in favour of Lansdowne 2.0. If they all vote to save women’s hockey in Ottawa then Lansdowne 2.0 will not pass.
