‘Norm’

George Wendt, sadly, died Tuesday at age 76 but his iconic character from the 11-season show Cheers will live on forever.

So this is interesting. Some bright bulb at the streaming service Peacock decided to put everyone of Norm’s entrances in one YouTube video.




His openings on Cheers are classics. Proof that short is funny and long is boring. Want to be funny? Keep it short.

His entrances are below and are the Shakespeare of comedy … in short form. In fact, The Bard was never this funny. Superb writing:
