O-Train Outage Repaired

This email is to provide you with an update that full O-Train Line 1 service between Tunney’s Pasture and Tremblay stations has now resumed.

Line 1 is not operating between Hurdman and Blair stations due to the planned Stage 2 East Extension integration work.

Rideau Transit Maintenance (RTM) were able to make repairs to the crossover switch near uOttawa Station, allowing service to resume.

R1 replacement bus service is making final trips between Tunney’s Pasture and Blair stations to accommodate customers. It will then continue to operate between Hurdman and Blair station for the remainder of the service day, as the East Extension works continue.

This is a release from the City of Ottawa:

>

Line 1 service from Tunney’s Pasture to Blair stations is expected to operate tomorrow for the normal service day.

Updates are being shared with transit customers through social media, text alerts, web updates, and station announcements, and staff are at key stations to support customers.

I’d like to thank our customers for their patience today while we addressed this issue.

Thank you,
