Opponents Distributing Anti-Lansdowne Flyer
Volunteers are blitzing through neighbourhoods distributing this very professional looking flyer against the Lansdowne 2.0 project.
No word on exactly what organization is behind the campaign but it appears to be volunteer based … the distribution at least.
The vote on Lansdowne is expected, at present, to occur about a month from now at Ottawa City Council:

What is interesting is that the flyer only lists 15 names. Presumably the 15 councillors who, along with Mayor Mark Sutcliffe, have not made it clear, either by past votes, public statements or private statements to members of this mystery group that they are against Lansdowne 2.x.
With nine already set to vote no, the opponents of Lansdowne 2.x only have to convert five. Unless Sutcliffe exercises his ‘strong mayor’ prerogative to override the will of council. The one that he vowed never to use. In which case, they will need to convert 11.
