In the event of a strike, please note that bills will continue to be issued and due as usual.
To ensure you receive your billing information promptly, we highly recommend enrolling in our paperless billing option. By switching to paperless billing, you will receive billing notifications directly in your e-mail, ensuring you stay informed and never miss a payment.
Benefits of enrolling in paperless billing:
Instant Access – receive your notifications as soon as property tax utility bills are issued, directly in your inbox.
Convenience – easily manage and track your billing history online.
Environmentally Friendly – help reduce paper waste and support a more sustainable future.
To enroll in paperless billing, simply log in to your My ServiceOttawa account, navigate to “view tax accounts,” then “Billing method” and select paperless bill option.

Alternatively, you can contact Revenue Services at 613-580-2444, option 1, during our business hours, weekdays, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and one of our agents will be happy to assist you with this process.
Once you have signed up for paperless billing for your tax bills, you will receive an e-mail notifying you when your bill is ready for viewing with the amount, due date, and a link to My ServiceOttawa.
While we strongly recommend paperless billing, we also provide several convenient options for paying your property tax bill:
Financial institution (online, telebanking, or in-person).
Online by credit card.
Pre-authorized debit (PAD).
In-person at Client Service Centre. .
