Mercifully the snow is supposed to fall before the freezing rain coats it making for less black ice problems to be concerned with. In these troubled times we take our small victories where we can get them.
Right, Sisco. This means that, for a change, I don’t want the sidewalk plow to clear the snow until the freezing rain is done! Seems counter-intuitive that I’d like the snow left where it falls for an extra day or two but, in this case, it will work for me.
Plus, if the freezing rain has made a crust on the snow, it makes such a lovely sound as you crack through it while you walk!
