St. Joseph Construction Continues Until Fall
Beginning Monday, August 25 until late fall 2025, construction will take place along St. Joseph Boulevard, east of the Highway 174 interchange, and extending to Bearbrook Road.
This work is required to support future OC Transpo operations to and from the new Montréal Station.
Phase 1 of this project includes preparatory roadway modifications along St. Joseph Boulevard from Highway 174 to Bearbrook Road. Phase 2 will see the construction of the future OC Transpo Bus Loop and Bus Operator Building. Phase 2 construction will begin in 2026.
Traffic impacts
Lane reductions will occur on St. Joseph Boulevard with the following exceptions to minimize traffic impacts during peak travel times:
No westbound lane reductions during the morning peak period.
No eastbound lane reductions during the afternoon peak period.
Work will be conducted in the overnight hours.
The majority of construction is expected to take place overnight between 7 pm and 6 am to minimize traffic disruptions. Pedestrians and cyclists will be accommodated through the construction zone.
Signage will be in place. Please plan ahead.
