Think Practicality? Think City Of Ottawa
“When it comes to practicality in the Canadian environment, it doesn’t apply.”
Beacon Hill-Cyrville Councillor Tim Tierney
Wow …. wow.
Imagine an Ottawa city councillor talking about practicality.
Kind of like a snail discussing flying.
Apparently new federal environmental regulations have resulted in a kind of road-lane marking that wears off faster than the old paint.
Wow. The last people in the country to be discussing practicality are people from the City of Ottawa.
When one thinks practicality, one immediately thinks about a half-billion dollars at Lansdowne with the city pressed for money, costs overruns at the new central city library and the always-reliable and ever-popular light rail.
Tim Tierney, think about getting your own house in order before you start criticizing others on practicality.
