Transpo Cracking Down On Bus Surfing

Riding on the outside of a bus is illegal and dangerous. Special Constables are investigating each occurrence of bus surfing using security camera footage and location information.

Because it’s becoming more frequent among high school riders, constables are also doing more outreach at schools where bus surfing has taken place to teach students how to ride transit safely.

Let your bus operator know
Notify nearby OC Transpo staff
Call 9-1-1
