Trump Is Not A Normal Person: THE VOTER

Ken Gray … you weren’t sure he’d go through with the tariffs? Really?

Are you perhaps judging Trump as if he were a) a normal person, b) sane, c) capable of understanding what he does and the consequences thereof or d) receiving and listening to advice from people who fall into a), b) and c)?

He’s claimed that, if we retaliate, he will just boost up the tariff rate and extend it to cover other things. This could go on infinitely until there’s nothing left without a tariff of 100 per cent going into the U.S. and the country is crippled. Apparently, he is of the opinion that there’s no better time to raise the price of everything than when most of the country is having trouble making ends meet.

Remember him saying during the campaign that he was going to “deal with” the cost of groceries? People mistakenly and perhaps foolishly thought he meant that prices would come down but did he ever say that?

Or did he say that the price of groceries was wrong and he was going to fix it? Not quite the same thing, is it?
