West-End Hwy. 417 Ramps To Close Temporarily

As part of the Stage 2 O-Train Light Rail Transit (LRT) project, motorists wishing to access westbound Highway 417 from Greenbank Road should anticipate impacts to traffic as crews complete necessary construction.


What:      Overnight closure of Highway 417 westbound on-ramps from Greenbank Road.
When:    Tuesday, Feb. 18, Wednesday, Feb. 19 and Sunday, Feb. 23 from 11 p.m. until 5 a.m. (Highway 417 westbound on-ramp from southbound Greenbank Road)
Monday, Feb. 24 to Thursday, Feb. 27 from 11 p.m. until 5 a.m. (Highway 417 westbound on-ramp from northbound Greenbank Road)
Why:         Snow wall construction.
Where:    Highway 417 at Greenbank Road

Anticipated Impacts
Motorists should adhere to detours, traffic control signage, posted speed limits, allow for added travel time and use extra caution when moving through active construction corridors as traffic patterns change.

Pedestrians and cyclists should use extra caution and adhere to posted signage when localized detours are in-place, to ensure safety.
