Ottawa’s In Full Transportation Crisis

The City of Ottawa has taken transit and transportation problems to a level never seen before here.

The bearing problems and shortage of rail cars on the light-rail project have been much publicized and condemned but this new situation at Highway 417 and Pinecrest Road has taken the transportation crisis to new heights. The LRT project apparently “impacted (note press release below)” a large sign on Highway 417 which has had to be replaced and that has caused lanes closures and disruptions on the freeway.
