Barrhaven Vigil To Honour Deceased Crossing Guard: HILL

 

There will be a community vigil for traffic crossing guard Peter Clark on Sunday May 3 at 2 pm at Weybridge Park.

This will provide an opportunity for families, students, school staff, crossing guards and any other community residents to pay their respects to our local hero.

There will be a table and stationery on site should you or your children wish to write Peter a note, and all of the flowers and gifts from the intersection will be transported to the park as we say thank you and farewell to a man that day-in and day-out kept our children safe.

The rain date will be Saturday May 9 at the same time and location.

Should you wish to provide financial support in Peter’s memory, a community GoFundMe page has been set up with the proceeds offsetting funeral expenses and to support several charities that Peter believed in …
