Saravanamuttoo Doubles-Down On Lansdowne: CHANGE THING

Here are notes on the city mayoral campaign from Bulldog editor Ken Gray as it progresses to the Oct. 26 voting day:
June 23, 2026: Mayoral candidate Neil Saravanamuttoo led the fight against Lansdowne and now he is doubling-down on the issue. First he said he would create a probe of the machinations surrounding the controversial project. Now the candidate believes referendums should be held on major expenditure issues such as Lansdowne.
June 22, 2026: U.S. President Donald Trump is blaming the previous administration for the difficulties surrounding the damaged Reflecting Pool in Washington. Let’s see, anyone doing the same thing in the mayoral election race in Ottawa? It was the other guys who botched local government, not me, we’ve heard someone say.
