Hwy. 417 Mess Began With City Council: BENN

Here is Kanata North Councillor Cathy Curry’s explanation of the current traffic problems on Highway 417 near Pinecrest Road.

“… but there was a failure to coordinate, communicate and to fully understand the impact of having multiple projects taking place at the same time in the same location.”

To which you can add the word “again”. Again places the responsibility for this most recent foolhardiness on the shoulders of city councillors. Councillors know that staff have failed in the past to coordinate, communicate and fully understand the impact.
