Ottawa Has Competitive Race For Mayor: POLL

 

 

The mayoral election is a two-horse race with one more horse coming up on the rail, a Compass News-iPolitics poll shows.

Mayor Mark Sutcliffe leads at 42 per cent with challenger Jeff Leiper weighing in at 36 per cent. However, showing considerable support is dark-horse candidate Alex Lawson at 16 per cent. Economist and community activist Neil Saravanamuttoo, a serious candidate, is polling at five per cent.
