Police Seek Witnesses In Bank Street Death

The Ottawa Police Service is seeking witnesses to a fatal collision that occurred on Monday, March 9th in the 2200 block of Bank Street.

At approximately 3:00 p.m., officers responded to a collision involving a vehicle and a pedestrian in a parking lot.
The pedestrian, an 83-year-old woman, was transported to the hospital where she died because of her injuries.

Investigators would like to speak with anyone who witnessed the collision or may have dashcam footage of this incident and has not yet spoken to police.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the OPS Fatal Collision Investigation Unit at 613-236-1222 extension 2345.

    Thanks Ken. This is great, but the OPS could help themselves out by indicating the major cross streets in 2200 block of Bank Street. As previously noted, the biggest challenge for any organization is effective communication.
