Questions For Our Mayoral Wanna-Bees: JONES

Well it’s (sigh) that time again. That time when we “refresh” our city council. New faces (possibly), new ideas (less likely) and new plans (much of which will involve money we don’t have).

What will we not see or hear in this election? Nothing that will make the average voter sit up and take notice. There will be condemnations of existing and previous mayors and councils. There will be shots taken at city financial planning (or the absence of same); traffic congestion; crime; overbuilding (and under-housing); taxes and user fees; and of course city hall deafness and inaccessibility.
