Just getting over ‘the covid’ myself Mike. Having said that, there is a silver lining. In particular, a line from The Devil Wears Prada resonates. At some point Emily Blunt’s character intones that she is just one stomach flu away from her ideal weight. Stomach flu vs.covid? Doesn’t matter if it helps you drop that last couple of pounds. ;>

Mike nobody gets better on a medium pizza.

I hope you are feeling better, Did you have your vaccine? I keep hearing about everyone getting Covid, I hope you feel better. Who ever mentioned a large pizza sounds like a good idea but wait a couple of days in case your throat is also sore. Now with saying that please get another vaccine shot so hopefully it will leave you for ever. Oh by the way I’m going to be 85 and I haven’t had that Covid thing yet. Get your vaccine, before pizza I would suggest having some good old chicken soup. It is a cure all. LOL

    Annette:

Thank you. There’s a very good chance that Mike was survive. He’s a pretty tough character.

I tried to get the vaccine this summer and no one had them.

Is there a place that has shots?

    cheers

  9. The Voter says:

    Ken,

Not only were a lot of places out of the vaccine already but now the feds have told the provinces to recall all the existing vaccines out there and are telling people to wait for the new vaccine that is pending Health Canada approval. This new version is the one that was approved recently in the US.

This is an odd reversal from the message just days ago that people who were more than six months out from a shot should NOT wait for the new, improved version since a shot in the arm today with the old one is better than going without since it would offer some protection in the meantime. At the moment, they are predicting that they will be rolling out the new one sometime in October but that’s not a sure thing.

They need to work on getting their story both straight and consistent. Many of the people being told it’s perfectly fine to wait are seniors and people with compromised immune systems who are very vulnerable to covid and often have more serious experiences with it than other people. The cost of their medical care and potential hospitalization should be enough to motivate the feds to push Health Canada to expedite the approval process. For some, this delay is a matter of life and death. For others, it means they can’t be with friends and family or travel. Get your act together. people!
