Where is this? It looks familiar but I can’t place it.

  2. Paul Pothier says:

@The Voter – that’s because it’s so commonplace in the city

Interestingly enough, the fill will break down and the job will have to be redone in 3 months, then three months later, then . . . . . Ottawa has been using the same method to fill potholes forever with the same results. Certainly at least one city in another country with a weather pattern similar to Ottawa’s will have tried something different and perhaps succeeded. It’s time for Mark Sutcliffe to call on his buddies from abroad (start with the mayor of Stockholm maybe) and ask what they’ve done to address the issue (no need to jump on a plane, a telephone will do). If Mark’s too busy to pick up the phone certainly someone working in his office can find the time.

@The Voter- It’s the corner of Carruthers and Wellington West… the heart of my ‘burg (literally… Hintonburg).

We were the pilot for a huge interlock project which has failed miserably. The sidewalks are all disintegrating one brick at a time. It was nice for maybe a year but now? Not so much.
