The city’s “consultation meetings” have not been about consultation for the last couple of decades, they were more about checking the box; i.e., consultation, been there, done that and have the T shirt. In more recent times, the “consultations” have become less subtle and Jan Harder wondered out loud why people did not attend them; even for hot button issues. We members of the great unwashed are a little smarter than city hall gives us credit for!
