Canal Skateway Closes Until Further Notice

This is a release from the National Capital Commission:

In support of ongoing maintenance efforts and to help protect the ice surface from excessive damage during the forecasted warmer temperatures and rain, the Rideau Canal Skateway will close temporarily from 10pm this evening until further notice. The Skateway will reopen as soon as ice conditions are safe and weather permits.
