City Podcast Doesn’t Fill Ottawa Potholes: GRAY
If you need proof that the City of Ottawa has too much money with which to play, check out the press release below this post on The Bulldog.
The Ottawa Nightlife Office has a podcast called (and one figures they were up all night figuring out the name for this one) Ottawa At Night. Way-to-go.
We also discover that the nightlife office has a staff … a staff that no doubt has a great deal of experience in journalism, just what you need for a podcast. The Bulldog has asked City of Ottawa media relations just how many staffers the nightlife office has and how big a budget the department is allocated. We’ll post that when we get it.
Balloongate: Is Leiper Trolling The Mayor?
For what it is worth, The Bulldog tried a podcast 17 years ago … they were very innovative then … and we stopped it because no one listened. We tried it again about a decade ago and found people liked posts such as this one much more than a labour-intensive podcast so we dropped them altogether. We’re thinking The Bulldog during those times had a much bigger audience than that of the current city podcasts.
